This Privacy Policy describes how Sude (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use Contentsy at https://contentsy.onrender.com.

Information we collect

• Product images you upload — to generate listing copy and create Etsy drafts.
• Listing text you edit — titles, descriptions, tags, and related fields.
• Session cookie — a random identifier (`csid`) for free-trial limits and Etsy OAuth token storage.
• Etsy OAuth tokens — when you connect your shop, we store access and refresh tokens so we can create draft listings on your behalf. Tokens are tied to your session cookie.
• Etsy shop metadata — such as shop id and shop name, returned by the Etsy API after you authorize access.

How we use information

• Generate AI listing copy from your uploaded images.
• Create draft listings in your Etsy shop when you request it.
• Operate free-trial limits and basic app functionality.

Third-party services

OpenAI — uploaded images and generated text prompts are sent to OpenAI’s API to analyze images and write listing copy. See OpenAI’s Privacy Policy.

Etsy — when you connect your shop, we use the Etsy Open API under the scopes you approve (listings_r, listings_w, shops_r). We do not use Etsy API data to train machine learning models.

Data retention

• Uploaded images are kept temporarily on our server until you publish or redeploy clears them.
• Etsy OAuth tokens remain until you disconnect or they expire and are refreshed.
• Etsy seller taxonomy data is cached for up to 24 hours to comply with Etsy API caching rules.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use Etsy API responses to train AI models.
• We do not access your Etsy orders or buyer emails (we do not request those scopes).

Security

OAuth tokens are stored server-side and transmitted over HTTPS in production. You are responsible for keeping your Etsy account credentials secure.

Your choices

• Disconnect Etsy at any time from the app.
• Do not connect Etsy if you only want AI copy without publishing.
• Contact us to request deletion of support-related correspondence.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
